Kids Helping

From the time I was a teen, and having seen the example of a friend with her young children, I knew I wanted the kids in the kitchen with me, helping, tasting and learning along side me.  The kids LOVE to help with meals, and of of the favorites is making pizza!  I have a great recipe for dough, that works well with gluten free flour or whole wheat and spelt (heaver flours) as well as plain white flour. It’s a no rise recipe, so it’s only take mins to make, press into the pan and you are ready to add toppings. Our faves are cheese and turkey peperoni 🙂

No rise Pizza Dough:

3 cups Flour

4 teaspoons yeast

2 tablespoons oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon sugar

1 cups warm water

Mix and press into oiled pans. Top and bake at 375* until done! Very simple and very quick! Tastes good too! 🙂
