I wish there was some way to put into words how I feel about this man. How happy he makes me and how thankful he is mine. I am not a great writer, I don’t have a way with words but I can say this:
Aaron, I love you. I am thankful for the man you are, the husband you are and the father you are. Thank you so much for your constant love and care of us. Thank you for your hard work, your goofy jokes and being my man. I pray you have a wonderful year old man!
All My Love, Amber
Little hands, working hard to make something special for their Daddy. Smiles and giggles and bossing the Daddy around. Frosting from heat to toe, all over the table and a little on the floor. Some messes are perfect, wonderful and just right. 🙂 Messes that come from wanting to make a special treat for Daddies birthday are messes I clean up with a smile.
I will keep the words to a minimum, but I forgot a few pictures form out trip at the Beginning of Jan. 🙂 The bathtub is my mom’s. I have bathtub envy and she got it all set up sweetly for me when I was there. Complete with awesome scrubby and bath bomb that smelled WONDERFUL! 🙂
VERY yummy gluten free blueberry muffins with lemon curd and chicken sausages. Breakfast at it’s best!

It’s done! It’s done! 🙂 I am so happy with it too! This is the first sweater I have knit, and it won’t be the last. I love how boy, and rustic it turned out. Andrew loves it. I must say, it being out his handsome brown eyes! 🙂
…..that made me smile today.

progress on Andrew sweater
Here are some snap shots from yesterday and today. It’s been cold, and we are even more thankful for our work horse wood stove. We had a load of wood delivered int he middle of the nasty flu bug the visited our house, and today Aaron got the rest chopped and stacked at the back door for easy grabbing. I am knitting a sweater for Andrew and yesterday I made a batch of (mostly) spelt french bread that turned out great! Laundry is being done and the kids are playing outside. We are getting back into the swing of school and addition has finally click for Flora. Tonight I am cooking salmon and garlic green beans for dinner and planning on enjoying a cozy evening with my man. All in all, a couple great winter day at our house.

Look at the camera Buttercup~ Andrew
Her name is Buttercup and she was a families indoor pet before they had to move. She is 7 months old and VERY much a people bunny. 🙂 The kids are thrilled, and she seems to be just as thrilled as they are. One more pet to the Family Petting Zoo.
